Ngaan City Launch Party
Last Saturday, September 5th, Highend became the first stop of Ngaan City's launch night.
By the time Saturday came around, the guest list was already full. So when the doors opened at 7:30, there was no waiting around to see whether people would show up.
They did.
DJ Prime Life was already on the decks, the drinks were cold, the tables were covered with games, and the first guests started making their way in. From there, the night pretty much took care of itself.
The Room Filled Up
What started with a few people around the tables quickly turned into a properly packed room. UNO. Jenga. Card games. Drinks. Conversations that started between strangers and somehow kept going.
It was one of those nights where nobody really needed to be told what to do. People settled in, started playing, started talking, met new people and got comfortable. And with DJ Prime Life keeping the soundtrack moving, the whole place found its rhythm fast.
More Than a Dispensary
This was also one of the first times we opened Highend up as an event space for an outside event. Honestly, it made a lot of sense.
Highend is a dispensary, but it has always been more than somewhere you walk in, buy something and leave. We like people hanging around. We like good conversations. We like having a reason to stay a little longer. Saturday night just took that idea a step further.
The best part wasn't seeing Highend packed. It was seeing what happens when the space is filled with the right people and given a reason to come together. That is something we want to keep doing: events, screenings, games, collaborations, random nights that turn into good stories.
If you've been to Highend before, you already know the space. If you haven't, maybe this is a good excuse to come by. And if you're thinking about where to hold your own night, now you know the room can do it.

Everyone on the guest list left with something. What was inside:

The Night Moved On
By around 10:15, the first part of the night was coming to an end. Then the vans arrived.
People started making their way outside, finishing conversations, grabbing their things and piling in for the next stop. From there, the night continued through Bangkok, with Ngaan City taking everyone on to the next locations.
We were happy to be where it all started.
